Mistakes are a natural consequence of taking risks

If you aren’t making mistakes, you are not managing risks. The trick, of course, is surviving them and then learning from the experience.

As Yuchun Lee, CEO and co-founder of Allegro recently told the NY Times:

“If you go through a whole day without making a mistake, you just wasted a whole day because you probably haven’t pushed yourself.”
